Disappearance of man in Flatbush sparks search


Farhad Mokbul disappeared from his home in Flatbush two days ago, and now police are asking local people and residents for information.

The NYPD have called out for help from anybody who might have information about the disappearance of the 26-year old living in New York.

The missing man was last seen on April 17th at 7pm, although the appeal from the police has come several days later. His home is situated on Westminster Road in Flatbush. This area is between Church and Caton Avenues.

Mokbul was not reported missing until April 20th, and he is presumed to have vanished at around 7am on that day.

Mr. Mokbul was wearing black pants and a red shirt when he was last seen several days ago, the police have reported.

He weighs around 150 pounds and is approximately 5 feet 8 inches tall. His hair color is black, he has light brown skin and is of a medium build.

Since not much information has been released by the police as yet, it is not known whether foul play or suspicious activity is suspected concerning his disappearance. The police investigation is currently taking place, and any information from neighbors, local residents and the public could be vital in this situation.

The NYPD are appealing to anybody who might have information which could help them to find Mr. Mokbul.
